This policy explains how Wilhelm Labs LLC ("Wilhelm Labs", "we", "us") handles information when you visit wilhelmlabs.com or use our software, including our mobile and web products ("Services"). If a product has its own privacy notice, that notice adds to this one for that product.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. For example, your name and email address when you contact us or create an account, and any content you choose to submit.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple, Google or Stripe. We receive confirmation of a purchase and limited details needed to provide it, but never your full card number.
- Technical information. Our servers record standard request data such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps, to keep the Services running and secure.
- Diagnostics. Some products may collect crash reports or basic usage data to fix problems. Where a platform asks for your permission first, we follow your choice.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services
- To process purchases and provide support
- To send messages you asked for, such as account emails and receipts
- To protect the Services and our users from fraud and abuse
- To meet legal obligations
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services (for example hosting, email delivery and payment processing), under terms that limit their use of it; when required by law; or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect information. No system is perfectly secure.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above, and for significant changes we will give notice in the Services or by email.
